I'm div; active in church choir & handbells, social concerns. Volunteer at St John Lutheran - altar guild; adult choirl social concerns. I volunteer anywhere needed.
April 2007 I became a PK3 after-school care teacher at our Lutheran school. June 2011 our Lutheran School closed - low enrollment & student aid were shrinking.
Held many positions in employment. The most interesting? working with P3, P4 kids at our church school. I had a whole bunch of "grandkids" every day playing!
April 2014 I bought a double wide. WOW! No more "rent" & finally no more 9' ceilings with which to deal! My current address is but a mile from the townhouse I rented (3x the price it was worth)!
I am not on Facebook nor will I use it. There was nothing but trouble on my computer from it. Please do not send anything there for me.
I'd be happy to share my email.

College
1961 was so long ago. Bette (Shibelski)Goldstein & I were the furthest from home, transplanted to Utica NY - RN school. I didn't make it thru chem & left in 63. Trudging to UC in ankle deep snow; & another building near the Munson-Williams-Proctor institute... a modern building designed well before it's time -- reminds me of a famous PA architect - Frank Lloyd Wright.
Certainly miss the days at Faxton Hospital & UC with the w/e spent cramming, going to Fern's place on Oneonta Lake for skating & very popular w/e barn dancing. Wonder if the family kept the place? Anyone know?
W/e in Bette's VW bug, we went to White Castle or (then NEW hangout) McDonald's for burgers, fries, & drink... ALL for under $1. WOW! Can't even get the soda for that now, not even in oldies days, can we?
