Barbara's Story
After high school, I married Conley Joe Webb (Garfield grad). We had out first daughter, Teresa Ann in Hamilton. Joe was in the Army, he went to Vietnam without me...then we went to Ft Sherdan, IL where we had out second daughter, JoAnna Ruth. On to Karlsruhe, Germany...then to Ft. Knox, KY...then to San Antonio, TX where our son, Charles Joseph was born...Joe went to Korea by himself...then all of us went to Ft Hood, TX...then to Kaiserslautern, Germany...then Ft. McClellan, AL where Joe retired in 1992 from the Army. We returned to Hamilton until Charles graduat...Expand for more
ed from Hamilton High in 2000. The next year we moved south to Alexandria, AL where we live now near our daughter, JoAnna and here family. We lost Charles in Iraq in 2004. Our two daughters gave us a total of 6 Grandkids...Tyler, Barbie, Laura, Victoria, Dilion, and LeAnn. Then Barbie blessed us with Greatgrandkid...Cheyanne. Twenty-eight years have now passed since high school....just doesn't seem possible. I still have nightmares about not being able to get my locker open...going to the wrong class...and being made fun of for being the fattest girl in school.
