Barbara's Story
Met Miguel (hubby) in my Jr year of Sequoia. Fell in love 4 evr. Finshed high school took college & rec center classes on and off for many years. Married Miguel in '80. worked in vet'y distribution for 9 years. Had our 1st son Paul in '84. Bought 1st home in Newark in '88. Switched to high tech job. Had our 2nd son Marcos in '92. Tons of fun things to be involved in with the boys. Next home in Fremont in '99. Travelled a lot for fun & business. Working in telecomm disty in Livermore now. Current home in Patterson, staying here, I think. Paul in 2nd year of hdware netwkg apprenticeship, good life for the computer geek that he is. Oct '09. They've settled in Fremont & gave us our 1st grandbaby, Serendipity Elaine Simental, 1/18/10. Love, Love Love that baby! Oh yeah, her parents are kinda special too. Marcos is the theater geek. Bit hard by the acting bug, and he's very talented, says the proud Mom. He'll be continuing that career choice in college next year. Very good kid, like his brother, we're blessed. Miguel and I breezin' into our 31st year of being married. Not too bad for a little out of control highschool partier (me!) and a guy that didn't speak english with an afro & a low rider Impala SS ! We love everyone in our extended families. In summary, we're only half way through this life and it keeps getting better!
