Jane's Story

Life I have a great life in Nashville, TN. I've been very active in the redevelopment efforts of East Nashville after the tornadoes struck in 1998. I have a bachelors degree in behavioral science, but haven't figured out what occupation for which that prepared me. I have been single since 1975 which is longer than I had i...Expand for more
magined when I got a divorce. I live in an old Victorian home built in 1885 that has been renovated and I love it. It is the 45th address I have had in all my years and I've lived here since 1997, the longest place of all, I think. So, I never put down roots, until I bought this house. I have always been a late bloomer.

Today is Mother's Day in Panama. We had a special Italian meal of Fruti del mar fra Diablo which was a spicy red sauce with lobster and crab. It was awesome but very messy to eat. Glad this wasn't a first date.
No fresher coconut than the ones falling from the palm tree in the yard at our lake house! So crunchy and sweet. Yum!!

Christmas Eve dinner: polenta with meat sauce and Italian sausage. Can you tell I have an Italian chef? It was wonderful!
