One childhood memory which I'll never forget took place when I first came to this country from Europe in 1961. I barely spoke the language and had no clue what was going on during the first year in Junior High. I was intrigued by the students including their conformism in dress and dating rules. In order to fit in, I tried to learn 'what to do' by reading '17-Magazine' in the library (talk about a recipe for disaster) and absolutely loved the 'american' sense of humor...and still do. What I wrote here previously, seems so incredibly unimportant now. We all dealt with challenges and it made us who we are today. I wish there were enough time to sit down with each of my classmates, listen to their experiences and learn from them. I married and divorced young, which resulted in my daughter Susan. I never remarried. Had a lot of crazy and interesting jobs. For almost 30 yrs I am a N.Y. lic. massage therapist, which included stints as 3x president of a massage organizatio...Expand for more
