Barbara's Story

Life Well, I guess I could begin by saying I went to college for 3 years, dropped out to get married and worked as a accounting manager for three doctors to support my husband through law school. We then moved to the San Diego area where my husband set up his own practice and had two children. We save our money to pay off our house as quickly as possible and to travel as much as and as far away as we can. My favorite hobby is quilting...but all of that stuff is boring! xt year as a music major with a trumpet scholarship. He won the Louis Armstrong Award and lives to "scream" high notes. Then, he's going to law school like his father. No, he does not take after me! Playing the flute in high school was strictly social for me! I was too unsure of myself! I think the past few years have been my favorite. I am constantly thinking of all the University Bandos and wondering where they are today. As I attend my sons' practice in the hot sun playing measure by measure, I think back to all those rehearsals. As they go to tournaments and parades, I watch all the bands and enjoy every bad note! See, I told you I'm a boring stay at home mom! Seriously, to all the former band members, I think of you so often. One of my deepest regrets is not keeping track of all of you. Thank you so much for the memories. They are the dearest.
