Barbara's Story
Life
I grew up in Birmingham, MO where we had one church and an elementary school. It was such a wonderful place to grow up. I got married in 1966 and divorced in 1979. Was then married for 27-1/2 years to Allen McCartney until his sudden death on October 16, 2006. over 20 years. I have two children - Chris, 43, and Rebecca, 37. My son Chris was in the Navy for 8 years and is now employed by the Postal Service, lives in Holt, MO and has one daughter who is 13 years old. My daughter Rebecca graduated from William Jewell College Magna Cum Laude with a nursing degree. She is currently a homemaker and lives in Sioux Falls, SD They have 5 children (3 daughters and 2 sons).
