Barbara's Story
I have been totally disabled since 2000 due to problems from back surgery. I guess all those years of every kind of sport I could play finally caught up with me. I am married to a wonderful man, Carlos "Butch" Warren. He is the love of my life. We have been married for 41 years come December 2012. I have a daughter and a son. My daughter, Tonya, is the oldest and she has a son, Jacob that is 7 years old, and a daughter that is 3 years old. She is a gospel singer with MercySong Quartet and her husband, Dan Eakins, is a Youth Pastor/Senior Adult Minister. My son, Todd, has two sons, Dylan 9 and Daxson 5. has some health issues due to agent orange from the Viet Nam War. He is on disability from the VA. We are planning to just have fun with our grandchildren. I did not get to graduate with the 1967 Class at Sandy Springs High, in Sandy Springs, GA. but did graduate with the Classs of 1967 at Seagoville High in Seagoville, TX. I missed not graduating with all the friends I had made in Georgia, but I did enjoy graduating with all of my friends that I had grown up with. We had an amazing senior year and graduation. I have had an amazing life with my family and friends and God is the center of it all. He is our strength and refuge through all the storms and trials. We depend on His love to guide us each and everyday.
