Barbara's Story
Life
I've been married 3 times & widowed 3 times. I have 2 daughters. I'm living with my mother in NJ but can't wait to move back to South Florida(no snow).
I found out that love kids, pro football, freshwater fishing. Love music as much as ever, esp guitars, dancing as much as my body will allow. Love cars as much as ever esp old chevys. Love contacting old friends and hearing from old friends. Looking forward to a reunion.
My Life:
In 1995, I left NJ to live in South FL. But June 2002, I returned to NJ to live with and care for my mother who was beginning to develop Alzheimer's Dimentia. I knew I was in over my head as soon as I walked in the door. But I made the commitment and stuck with it. By the end of 2008, she was in serious condition but perfectily healthy. 2009 was, I thought, as bad as it could get. I was wrong. It got much worse by the end of the year and we started 2010 worse than I could've imagined. Seemed like if we didn't get help from somewhere soon, we'd be roommates in an extended care nursing home. Or I'd have the breakdown first before they came for her. By the edn of April she was hospitalized followed by admittance to extended care nursing home. I'm just getting over it now.
I mention all this only to let those of you that I contacted and then disappeared from, why...what happened and where I went. I was sole caregiver and was lost in the ozone. I've had no social life, haven't gone on any dates, and I'm ok. A bit rundown and ragged around the edges, but my heart is still good and strong and I still have a love for life stronger than ever and I believe I'm developing a better understanding of the human condition and how much we all...Expand for more
have in common.
To all that stop by and happened to want to say hello, with no further agenda, please stop by to say hi. Do me a favor tho, if you're a guy that thinks I didn't date you because you didn't have a car, DON'T call and get over yourself cause I NEVER didn't date a guy because of his car or lack thereof. Anyone with a grudge they need to settle or get off their chest, I've had enough of that as well. I got it, I made some people miserable. Forgive me or hold on to the grudge, just don't call me about it. One thing I've learned from experience: I let go of the grudges I had against a few people from tenth grade or some such garbage, and just recently noticed they were gone!! I let those grudges go and I feel soo much better for it. Do what you feel you must with yours, just don't act on the feeling that you need to call me about it.
With sincerity & gratitude,
Barbara Massa Sauk.
Translation of last story update: lets re-connect in peace & love & harmony. Back in '88 I was confronted by more people with grudges against me for things I never considered doing!! Didn't get much better over the yrs, so all I ask is to come in peace & love or please don't feel we need to be in touch. Thanks. Barb.
Last 8yrs spent living with my mother with Alzheimer's. She's in nursing home now. I must have to upgrade my Classmates account but I'm trying to find class of '66 John Sorge and/or his brother from class of '68 Bill Sorge or William Sorge. Good friends that I hope to say hi to.
