Barbara's Story
I am a retired Pediatric nurse living here in North Pole, Ak.x30yrs. now I go to the movies alot when I can't stand the house. I have 1 living son w/2 grandgirls and they are wonderfulI also have 3 granddaughters,who are grown now.Their mother passed away at age 34 in 1998. My eldest son passed when he was 36. He wasn't married and had no children. My husband was 44 when he passed in 1986 When my daughter died we were able to know there was heredity gene that caused aortic dissection.It killed them all. ...Expand for more
.I do some volunteering depending what comes along.I've been a widow for 23yrs. We've had a little cold snap (-45)but warmed up to -16 today.We never get tired of watching the moose munch around on the trees. I attended Walker Elem.through 8th grade in 1956 then South JH Freshman year.then when 509th went to Pease N.Hamp.x11/2 yrs and then transfered to Warner Robins,GA for 3mo. before graduating. I then attended a Nurses Training in Macon. I met my husband mid-summer and turned out he worked for my Dad.
