Life
HI!
What to say? Let's see...
I met my husband, Wayne, at the MSU Freshman Orientation Dance - I know, how romantic! We were married in 1971 and I taught in Dansville while he got his Master's and Doctorate at MSU. In 1976, I had my first child, a daughter named Beth, and we moved five hundred miles, to Ithaca, New York, where Wayne had landed a job as a professor in Farm Business Management at Cornell University. In 1978 I had Joy and in 1980 I had Jen.
Right now, I keep very busy teaching dance, working half time for our consulting business (economic litigation - I'm the data entry "slave"), writing the "great American novel", keeping house (...Expand for more
well, sort of...), and endeavoring to learn the art of Dressage on my sweet, but pushy, Dutch Warmblood mare, Rhapsody! AS far as other animals, we have a Corgi named Cissie, and a cat named Ives. Wayne and I also love to travel and as well, have recently purchased the three plus acres of woods behind our home and are struggling to "tame the wilderness"!
We still have season football tickets for MSU and truck out to see the games pretty frequently, so I would LOVE to get together while we're there! The only friend I still keep up with from Okemos is Sue Ralston Coon, who now lives in Mount Pleasant, but I'd love to expand that list!
