Barbara's Story
Life
I am married and have 2 sons and 2 step-sons. All are grown, so we are empty nesters. We have lived in Raleigh for 25 years and love it. I have worked as office manager for two companies and then went in to real estate. I was on the Board of Realtors for a year and a member of the board through out my career. I also trained new agents and was assistant to the owner of the company. I retired in 2002 to have more time with grands and just be me. I now fill my days with the grandkids,home and friends. beach,southern states,warm weather and music,music,music. I love to read and gardening. I have a memory garden with flowers and plants from some of my favorite people and places. Most of them came from Dunbar and Clio.
The light of my life is my hsuband,children, and grands.
My favorite memoriesof the past always begin with Clio.
We have had many family losses as most have over the years. My mother died in 1996 and my lovely sister,Pat,in 2002. Pat and I both have grandchildren that are twins. But we have amazing memories of all.
