Barbara's Story

After high school I went to school to become a hair dresser. Then when I was 22, I moved to Las Vegas. I met my husband who was a crap dealer and was married for 16 years, had two wonderful boys, Tim and Tyler. My son Tim got really ill, so we moved to Florida (Fort Myers), and I got divorced. We lived there for 15 years, and I was a helping teacher. I retired from the school district and moved back to Las Vegas because I missed the gambling business. I was a 21 dealer, and a floor boss for years. While we were there, my son got ill again and passed away 2 years ago. Tryed to go on, couldn't do it, so my son Tyler asked me to...Expand for more
move back again to Florida and live by him. He just got married and I'm hoping to become a grandmother. I live by the water, and I love the beach. Florida is a great place to live, and I think I'm going to have a great rest of my new life again. I would like to hear from everyone in our class, and anyone who comes to Florida is welcome to stay with me anytime ! Crafts, playing card games on the internet, and shopping, and going to the beach is what I love to do. I'm single and like living alone with my two cats. Had a heart attack when I was 60, and I just want the rest of my life to be safe, quite, and no more unhappy times.
