Barbara's Story

I have lived in Brighton, Michigan for about 25yrs. I have survived 2 divorces and been on my own since 1980. After High School I attended Detroit Practical Nursing Prog/Lansing CC/Ann School of Business. I spent 35+yrs in Nursing A sever back injury while in Africa 1963= back to school =Accounting Clerk and spent 10 yrs in local non-profit agencies. Volunteered for several programs; wonderful year in Kentucky. Several experiences with a refugee camp in W. Africa and continue to work with relocated refugees in the Lansing area.
