Barbara's Story
I married my soulmate, Winfield Scott Proctor in 1973. We were married for 23 years until he died of pancreatic cancer. I was a widow when I was 51 and I have been single ever since. t it was too grey and dreary. M y sophomore year I went to ASU in Tempe and became a Medical Technologist and I worked at John C Lincoln North Valley for 20 years. Most of the time I spent working in Blood Bank crossmatching blood for trauma patients on an Evening shift.
