Barbara's Story
Graduated in 1967. Completed cosmetology school in 1968. First son born in 1969. Second son born in 1971. Married somewhere in there, divorced not much later. Married the heart of my heart and love of my live in 1974. Celebrating 36 years together this August. Mike is from Escalon, graduated from University of the Pacific with Electrical Engineering degree. I was Wife & Mom for many years, moving from Central to Northern to Southern Calif. as engineering jobs dried up. We moved to Oklahoma in 1982. ost 41, Currently Sales manager for 4 state area for Colorspot Nurseries, just completing classes for real estate license. He and his wife have given us 2 grandsons, Sebastian, 7, and Jayden, almost 3.
Our younger son Chris worked in the newspaper industry, then construction for many years. Lani is his daughter, just turning 19. He decided to go back to school to become a veterinarian, but sadly died of a massive heart attack at age 36. 2 years ago. Recovery from this is hard. Retirement in about 6-7 years, looking forward to this a lot. Our family is close, and the loss of one brought us closer.
