Barbara's Story
Life
I married Jack Scroggins on May 7, 1960. We have 3 children, 9 gandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter. Alicia our daughter is head of the NICU as a respiratory therapist. Lenny our son is in management at Blue Cross and our son John is an attorney. We live in Simi Valley, California and my husband is a director of public relations for Reardons Simi Valley Funeral Home and I manage a public cemetery. For 17 years I had an interior design studio and Jack was in sales for Kinney Wallcoverings. We love Simi and plan on retiring here someday. I still have family in San Diego. lives in the midwest. I have also kept in touch with Lenore (Encinas) Burdsall and Anne (Frost) Arnold. Leo lives in Fredericks Maryland and Anne lives up in the Bay Area. Jack and I have been very involved in St. Peter Claver Catholic where Jack is a cantor, Eucharist Minister and assist Msgr. at Masses. I am a lector, involved in Parish Council and head up all the fund raisers. I work in the Bereauvment Ministry and in charge of the Bethany Ministry. I am recovering from hip replacement and Jack had Cancer Surgery 14 months. God has blest us with a wonderful family and so very many kind and generous friends. The have been so supportive of us during our surgeries and illnesses.
