Barbara's Story

Living in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) was the best decision we ever made. These days I enjoy hiking, walking on the beach and living on our beautiful river close to the beach. I have been a K9 Search and Rescue volunteer since 2014 and I am passionate about finding the lost/deceased. Opal my lab finds lost people and Mya my German Shepard locates deceas...Expand for more
ed people. It's rewarding work and helps to keep me in shape. I have three grandchildren that I love spending time with! For the past 20 years I have managed a wholesale plant nursery and it's the best job ever. Bringing my dogs to work with me is a huge bonus. I am a breast cancer survivor (2019) and I'm so grateful for my health today. Life is good...
