Barbara's Story
Hi Y'all! I eventually went to college and took business and marketing. I had a 4.0 grade point average and made the dean's list every semester. I now live in Houston, Texas with my husband and an awesome black rescue cat named Sheba. Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States and you can't imagine the traffic! I-10 has 9 lanes in each direction and comes to almost a stand still at rush hour that goes from 3pm to about 7 pm. I have a step-daughter and granddaughter that live in Mt. Clemens.
I don't miss the Michigan winters at all.
Houston has the largest rodeo in the world. We have 21 days of Rodeo in March. We love going to Rodeo with our cowboy hats and boots. There's always a concert at the end of each day's rodeo We've seen Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, and ZZ TOP ( Texas Boys)." We weren't born in Texas, but we got here as soon as we could."
