Barbara's Story

Life Some of you may remember me as Barbara Yungling - Doug Yungling's younger sister. Two years after graduating from COHO I married Steve DeThomas. Steve and I were married for ten years, divorced in 1976, but we're still good friends, really! I have been married to Dick McClelland, since 1981. We live in the Via Verde area of San Dimas. We are not far from the Masonic Home where I lived during my school years from 1953 until 1964. I am still selling real estate with Century 21 Citrus Realty, 31 years. I don't have any children, therefore, no grandchildren. I do have my brother, Doug's, two grown sons and now two great nieces, Doug's oldest son Stephen has a daughter born 8-6-03, he...Expand for more
r name is McKenna Claire Todd Yungling, she has Doug's eyes. Also, Corrine Todd Yungling born 3-4-05. She is a doll. Doug would be so proud of them, he loved little girls. Doug Yungling graduated from COHS in 1962. He lived at the Masonic Home also from 1953-62. Doug passed away March 6, 2003 in San Luis Obispo where he had lived since we went up there to go to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo after he graduated from COHS in 1962. Send me an e-mail when you can... I will reply! 6/24/10 - Just elected President-Elect of the Citrus Valley Association of REALTORS for 2011, will be President in 2012. The Association has almost 6000 REALTOR members in the East San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire.

What a handsome man I married......
In loving memory of my brother, Doug Yungling. Today is his 70th birthday. This picture was taken July 21, 1953 in Saticoy, CA. Doug is on the left in his Cub Scout uniform... Soapbox Derby

Fifty years ago today the class of 1964 graduated from Charter Oak High School. WOW, how time flies. We celebrated at our all night party at Disneyland.
