Barbara's Story
Back when I was On the Band, I played the Bells. There were only two of us that played the bells, Tammy and myself. Mr.Devore was the Band Director. Mr. Devore had a brief meeting one day with the entire Band. Devore stated, there were going to be a slight change in our practice version, for the Live show we were do on the up coming Friday Game. I missed a portion of that meeting involving the change and came in on the end of the meeting. when we got out on the Field the night, ready for the routine, playing to the song "SHAFT" Tammy and myself were jammin and hitting our Be...Expand for more
lls. where We and my Bells suppose to Dip and return with the rest of the Band, I dip, the Band did not. I was out on the field going one way and the rest of the band going the other way, toltal opposite direction, Devo always siad "if you get embarrased "Play it out". "Keep Marching". I was Soooooooooo Embarrased! There should be a photo of me some where in the year book. I thought I would never live it down, the kids road me so hard. the moral of the story is "Be on time" and "Don't be late". I can assure you, I've never been late for ANYTHING since then in my entire life.
