Barbara's Story

Life I worked for Mr. Albert P. Gagnebin, Chairman of International Nickel of Canada, Ltd. until 1974 when my husband and I moved to Fairfax VA. Have been working for Fairfax County Government for the last 25 years - presently for two Deputy County Executives. I will be retiring on June 30, 2005. ast 31 years here in Fairfax and have loved it. Played on a Women's Soccer League for 14 years - outdoor and indoor; played volleyball for a couple of years and now have taken up golf. I must admit, soccer was an easier sport. Looking forward to time with my husband, time to travel, and enjoy the fruits of our labors - so to speak. I had learned much during my years with INCO and worked with some really fantastic folks.
