Barbara's Story
Life
I got married before finishing my senior year and moved with my husband to California. The next year I returned to Ft. Worth to complete my studies and graduate. We returned to Texas after 4 years, tidal wave warnings, and several earth quakes.
I've reared 6 children-5 boys and 1 girl--My daughter- a substitute teacher and data entry clerk with Lake Worth ISD -left us at the age of 23 and left behind a beautiful daughter-now 19 and much like her mom. My oldest son, a writer, painter, and Biblical scholar left us at the age of 32--both left us with wonderful-loving memories. I have 4 boys [men] [two and their families serving in the army at this tume]+ spouses, 8 grandsons, 3 grandaughters --growing growing growing-- quickly.
