Life
I started working in computers after I joined the Navy in 1979. I was in for 5 years and came out as a Petty Officer Second Class. My first duty station was on the U.S.S. Jason. We were the first group of women assigned to the Jason. The Jason was only the third ship at that time to have women assigned. My Naval experience is something I wouldn't trade for anything. I would do it again given the opportunity. I got out after 5 years only because I could make more money in the private industry than if I had stayed in. I am really into genealogy. I married my husband, Mark, on March 17, 2001. We eloped to Las Vegas and had a blast! I just finished my Master's degree in management.
