Barbara's Story

I was told by family and friends that I should pursue a career in direct sales. My reply was ""No Way !!!!!"". My background was bookkeeping and accounting. I married a really great guy, had a wonderful son, and decided to check out direct sales. My hubby was glad for me to open a small business that launched me into sales. I came to enjoy retail sales and people so much. ...Expand for more
I added Mary Kay Cosmetics to my gift shop business and did very good. In 1984 I went to college and in six months got a real estate license. I have been in real estate sales and the "people" business since 1985. Living and working in East Texas since 1981 has been a most rewarding experience. Life is good. Family and friends are everything. Living in the country is great.
