Barbara's Story

After high school I got into construction as a Drywall Finisher. I joined the Painters and Allied Trades Union as a apprentice. Work went downhill in the early 80's so I went to Florida and lived not far from Hollywood beach continued to work Union and had a Great time for ten years. The company I worked for went non union so I came up to Spanaway and worked. I met my hubbie Bill and we now have a daughter Erika who is a volleyball nut!!...Expand for more
We are into camping and four wheelin. We are in the Swamp Stompers Jeep Club and we Love It!! Our daughter plays fastpitch, volleyball and basketball. I am the Business Representative for the Painters and Allied Trades District Council #5 in Eastern Washington. I have worked for the Council for 8 years. What an exciting job, they have given me the opportunity to go to school and travel all over the U.S.A.and meet so many wonderful people.
