Barbara's Story

Married out of high school, widowed in 2001 after 34 years of marriage. Two adult children and almost five grandchildren (four with one on the way.) Retired and rehired to work for local government. (I hate politics... go figure!) Love my job but ready to relax and retire. I'm still living in Bucks County but I moved further north. My hobby, my obsession, is fabric art in the form...Expand for more
of quilting. I travel, mostly with friends, to quilt shows as far away as Paducah and Houston. I'd love to see the California show some day, and the one in Sisters, Oregon. Just came from Vermont and heading to Chautaqua, NY in September. Life is an adventure and I understand now "youth is wasted on the young." But I'm still laughing, mostly at myself, and having a heck of a time!
