Barbie's Story
I am writing from the sunny skies of Manhattan, New York, where I arrived 36 years ago to find fame and fortune. As of today, I am still looking! But I married a real private investigator 30 years ago so the hunt has been fun if not exciting. I did pursue acting with films, dinner theater and regional theaters, Off Broadway, commericals, print, tv spots and a recurring role on a soap opera to my credits but never got to THE Broadway stage, the goal of my journey! My husband and I were not blessed with children but I have enough family to visit when I go to Tulsa to get the paternal urges sated!
I have been lucky to keep in contact with some of my best friends from Hale and look forward to meeting more friends I have missed in the past 40 years. Can you believe 40 years have passed! I hope to see many of you in July!
