Barry's Story
Life
After Kecoughtan, I went to VMI and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and a commission in the Army. After 7 years and a tour in Kansas and Panama, I returned to Northern Virginia where I completed my Masters Degree at George Washington University and along the way met my wife. We have three great daughters all who live in Northern Virginia near us. My youngest is expecting our first grandchild, due in August 2009. My second is eng...Expand for more
aged to a great guy and they live in Maryland. Wedding is May 2010. My oldest is still looking. I left the Army in 1979 and spent the next 10 years in civil service with the Navy Department; since 1989 I have been with the Army, currently with the Corps of Engineers. I hope to retire in a few more years and move to northeast North Carolina. Not sure I'll make it to our 41st reunion in Hampton due to work, but I'm sure it will be a great time.
