I attended Ravenswood in the 67, 68 schoolyear. I had transferred over from Our Lady Of Lourdes. I was in Mrs. Kramers class with many other students. I was on the crosswalk patrol squad, my assigned corner was at Montrose and Ashland Aves. I also was the regular escort assigned to accompany the students who attended CCD classes at Lourdes on Wednesday afternoons.

Mr. Bonnell was the principal then and a Mr. Ponich was the gym teacher.
I attended Lane Tech and then Senn High. I used to visit Mrs. Kramers class in my Navy uniform whenever I had a chance to return home to Chicago.
I've lived out West and in the Washington DC area but have called the sunny South home for over 25 years. (I don't miss having a snow shovel...)
I hope to hear from some folks of the time period who may share their memories of those days.
