Barrett's Story
Had a varied career path
Taught junior and senior high school earth science and computers in 1980's
Worked as an environmental geologist in the 1990's to 2005
In 2006 got a job with Shell Oil as a petrophysicist and that helped a little make up for the low pay as a teacher
Presently, pretty much retired due to the state of the industry.
Have lived in Ypsilanti, western Ohio (Toledo-area, Dayton, Cincinnati), ...Expand for more
northern Illinois, Houston and now Tulsa, which is probably my favorite location. And no guys we don't all ride horses and wear cowboy hats.
Married 43 years to Susan, Two children Lindsay (married with two sons) and Andrew.
No family left in SE Michigan so I haven't been to Westland area in a long time.
My brother and family, my sister and parents all moved up to Grayling, so I do get back north frequently.
