Barry's Story

Life After high school I went into the Navy and ended up staying for almost 25 years(I retired in Feb 1990). After the Navy I went to work for the Texas Department of Health (now the Department of State Health Services) in Austin where I lived until December 1999. gy. I now live in Lubbock, Texas where I currently serve as the Deputy Regional Director for the Department of State Health Services regional office in Lubbock. I married the former Christy Hester (also went to Hirschi)in 1968 and we will celebrated our 40th year together in December 2008. Have two daughters and two grand children.
