Life is an interesting ride, full of twists, curves, peeks and valleys. All in all, however, it's been a pretty good ride.
I have two great sons. Shane - 28, married August 30, 2008. He attends college at night and works as a fiber optic network engineer during the day. He's also an audio-visual expert, and has done the installs for many notable people in Minnesota.
Justin - 23, attended college in Texas. He lived in Bryan/College Station, and was at Texas A&M. He had started college in Minnesota and was getting a B.S. in Information Systems Security, but changed his mind and transferred to Texas. He transferred to Univ. of Minnesota in 2009, and is now his senior year in the business school, and is taking on both business & advanced economics. Justin was a very successful high school wrestler. He is also a very accomplished guitarist, and was offered the opportunity to attend Berklee School of Music, but turned that down. He met a wonderful girl on spring break, and she played a big part in him transferring to Texas. They are successfully managing a long-distance relationship at the moment, and they are planning their future together.

ng a number of different things. I work for a specialized web branding, design & image management firm. The company does high-end graphics for the entertainment industry, specialized web development, e-commerce development & consulting, and so on. I also am a certified USA & Olympic level bowling coach, and coached junior leagues and the high school varsity bowling team. I also am a silent partner in a custom motorcycle design/build operation, where we have turned out some incredible v-twin custom bikes. I am an avid biker, with two of my own, and ride every day that the weather allows. I also take a lot of over-the-road bike trips during the summer, including Sturgis, S.D., Bike week & Biketoberfest in Daytona, and have done the Washington D.C rally also. If I have a passion, designing and building custom bikes would be at the top of the list. I am also involved in community service, and volunteer for what I have time for. I served as a board member and then chairperson of the regional parks commission in Minnesota for nine years. I'm also active in the local "Workforce Center" which helps displaced workers. Now that the boys are grown, I find myself trying to fill every waking moment with other activities. However, I've found there is no shortage of things to get involved in, and a lot of worthy causes in need of help.
