Basil's Story
Life
Well it's been 28 years but I'll keep my story short. After graduation I didn't marry my high school sweetheart (she may remember who I was) however, I did go on to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. I served in the Corps for nearly 21 years before retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant in February 1997. isle twice without success, however, three should be the charm, and from those marriages I have two beautiful daughters (Maria Corine and Adrianna Tiffany). After retirement I worked briefly in Arlington National Cemetery where I spent the last 3 years of my Marine Corps career. I then took a job working for the U.S. Navy in Memphis TN where I now happily reside. I am currently the Head, Survivor Benefits and Entitlements Policy Branch in the Navy's Casualty Assistance Division.
