Beatrice's Story
Hello fellow Classmates! Update time! Still living in Holyoke, hard to believe it's been three years. We love our nice cozy apartment off of Northampton St. Great location, great neighbors. Our daughter and son-in-law were recently relocated to Arizona. They made John and I grandparents for the first time on June 5. We now have a grandson Atlas James. We are actually leaving this weekend to go out to see them and meet the baby. Last June I retired from the Holyoke Public Schools as a SPED Paraprofessional. I still work the after school program teaching Theater & Art. I will also be working the Summer Academy for my ...Expand for more
fourth year. Still love working with my kiddos! I am still the building union rep (no one wanted to take on the responsibility). I am also still the Treasurer of our union. Keep you posted on that LOL! COVID hit our family pretty hard. It just needs to go away! My husband is still plugging away at his job of 43 years. Hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Well wishes to you all and your families.
Update on trip: It was a very long but rewarding trip to Arizona. Meeting our first grandchild was amazing. I didn't want to leave. Can't wait to be able to go back and spend more time with my little family in Arizona!
