Bebe's Story

Hi all. Just a few facts: I live in a smallish town in Alabama with my husband of 27 years, Roger and my 18 year old daughter, Jenny. Roger is a neurosurgeon and my daughter is pursuing a music career. After leaving Ridgeway I went to Ole Miss and graduated from Memphis State in nursing. I worked at the Med, the Methodist and LeBonheur. Shortly after we married we moved to Salisbury MD and then to Alabama. After moving here I went back to school to major in Interior design. I have owned my own business for the past 20 years in antiques and interior design but now act as temporary manager for my daughter's music career. This keeps us on the road a great deal between New York and Nashville. One of my greatest joys has been teaching Community Bible Study here. I was the associate teaching director for 6 years. I miss that now but truly feel blessed to have the opportunity to travel. We have 3 dogs and 1 ca...Expand for more
t. This is down from 4 dogs and 2 cats. Between all of these animals and Jenny I felt like I was always taking care of something that needed me. The 6 animals was just not manageable so we found homes for 2. I am a complete pushover for animals and have probably found homes for dozens. My daughter recently performed at a fundraiser for Pets are Worth Saving and I cried the entire time looking at all of the homeless animals. I told her the next time she did anything like that she had to go alone. I love to organize events and with the help of a friend had a small event planning business. I did not know this in high school but I found out that I was creative. I love getting a great idea and figuring out how to see it realized. My folks are still doing well and living in Memphis. We get to see them from time to time, not really often enough. Life is good and I hope that is true for you as well. God Bless!
