Becky's Story
Graduated from Butler, 1967. Married. Have 2 wonderful grown children. Worked at various jobs: Teledyne Brown Engineering (after high school until 1st child was born); studied ceramics and became a certified ceramic instructor; opened my own ceramic business (until hubby was transferred out of state - to Florida); stayed home had 2nd child - became a fulltime stay at home mom until 1982 (divorce happens); Office Manager for attorneys in Huntsville, AL (attorney who employed me closed his business and moved); most enjoyable job was then with the University of Alabama School of Medicine - Huntsville Campus (I w...Expand for more
as the Mama Beck to all medical students for almost 8 years)(also remarried); moved to Blount County, Alabama (50 miles So. of Huntsville - shortly after my mother passed in 1995). We built of home from the ground up! What an experience:) We live on about 85 acres. My last fulltime job was Owner of an antique & gift store. Was President of the Business Association; member of the Chamber of Commerce; served on the County Industrial Development Board; member of the Historical Society and was the event director for the Forrest-Streight Raid Civil Was Reenactment.
