Becky's Story

After college, I moved to Boston to find a job in publishing. I did. I stayed. I love New England, and I fit pretty well with the political climate of Massachusetts. Boston is a beautiful and inspiring place to live. Even after all these years, I'm very mindful of loving the way everything looks and feels; there's the historical stuff, but right alongside the enormous student population. A great mix of old and new, young and old, traditional and goundbreaking. I've been married 25 years (in May of 2010) to a great guy who is a retired consultant and writer. een a self-employed writer/editor for the last 20 or so years; consequently, I have to fit hunting for work into my other (more fun) activities. We are huge pet lovers, always having at least one cat and one dog. At the moment we have two cats (brothers) named Barnum and Bailey. Sadly, we lost our beloved Labradoodle, Pearl, to a horrible accident last August. We are currently searching for our new canine family member. We have three adult children (from John's other life) and two batches of grandchildren, the first two are 23 and 25 while the second batch are 8 and 5. Our extended families are pretty confusing, but I guess that's not unusual these days. We've just had a wonderful holiday season with everyone putting in an appearance at some point. Happy New Year to ya'll!
