2009 - Older Brother, Mike Newkirk died.
Did the online dating thing and met the most wonderful man....we are busy building a great relationship! I guess he is the light at the end of my tunnel! :}
I am into Herbs for healing (weird hobby, I know!).
I enjoy golf, but I don't get much practice, and I am really bad...need lessons.
I'm taking Ball Room dance classes (go ahead, laugh, wait till you see me at the next wedding!)(update....no partner for me, had to dance with a 100 year old woman instructor....didn't do well....)
I crochet and knit - I'm good at it and enjoy it!
I love to do interior decorating.
My plants are all dead, or dying. 2011 update....all my houseplants (all 3 of them!) are thriving! My daughters were here in May and thought they were fake! HA!
No pets....(allergic)
I love antiques (that DOES include my friends!)
My dream is to build a cabin out in the sticks that is off the grid, solar powered, composting toilet, etc...
I workout...I don't like it, but I do it.....I hate the sweat and the time it takes out of my life, but I like what it does for me...
I LOVE MY GRANDBABIES!!!!!! Gabrielle Regan Ramirez 7 years old....the joy of my life! Red ringlets and "magic" hazel eyes (like her Grandma!). Liberty Belle Moore - 3 years old - looks like the precious moments girl! She laughs...Expand for more
and shouts, "I'm not Libby, I'm Cinderella!", Aurora Daisy Moore - 2 years old....barely potty trained. Whispers when she feels shy.....and looks just like her Grandma (I'm praying she outgrows that!) Ariel Jetta Moore 10 months old....she is just starting to stand up and walk around the furniture....she is a sweetheart! She looks like her Mommy.....
7/15/09 - new GrandSON! Whoo! Hoo! Has his Mommy's eyes, nose & hair and his Daddy's mouth....chin...Grandma's I think...but too early to tell! :} oh, yes...Levi James Moore 2 weeks old today! 7 lbs 14 1/2 oz, 20" long...and PERFECT and Mommy is FINE! Thanks to God! PHEW!
7/24/09 - met the Love of My Life! Dana Rickerson. Online Dating for over a year....but...it does work! EVENTUALLY! Gotta weed out all the "culls" first, though....not for the timid! :}
2010 - Life is good....Grandbabies healthy....doesn't get much better than this!
2011 - Life is still good....don't like Jamestown much, I'd rather be in Delevan close to my family! Miss those brats! (My kids) and the Grandbabies! :{ Still...life is so much better with someone to share everything with.... :}
2012 - Life alternates between rocky and wonderful!!!! Youngest Daughter had a BEAUTIFUL baby girl.....#6! She is a doll!!!
I met up with several people from my past this year, and they both had wonderful things to say about me! I am glad that they remember me as well as I remember them!
Mary Reed, my best friend for years and years showed up on facebook and we reminisced for a long while by telephone. She is still amazing, has the greatest laugh and to date remains one of my most wonderful childhood memories.....If you ever saw "The Trouble With Angels" then you would know that I always had "scathingly brilliant ideas...would grab Mary's hand and drag her with me!!! The only time she ever went to the principal's office was when we were both in kintergarden and I draged her under the fence to the "big kids playground"!!!! We were and ARE still wonderful friends. I am so grateful to have her back in my life!!! :)
