Becky's Story
Dave and I still live in North Carolina. We have lived on Lake Norman for over 20 years. We enjoy our life here and have been very blessed. We will always be TEXANS, but we have really enjoyed living here. The seasons are really beautiful. We have the ocean and the mountains like Texas, but it doesn't take as long to get to them.
Our only child, our son Dave ( I call him Davey, but he would rather me call him Dave) is married and lives close by. We see them often and we always enjoy sharing our life with them.
We have an Irish Setter dog named Sadie that rules our lives.
Dave is still flying for USAirways but is hoping to retire in the near future. He's been with them 24 years.We have both b...Expand for more
een realtors for over 20 years. We stay current but we aren't active right now.
We stay busy with church, community activities and family. We love to camp, play golf and ride motorcycles.
We did all the lake things, skiing, swimming, boating and fishing while Davey was growing up, but we don't do much of it now. Although, we still enjoy watching everyone else. This lake stays busy like Grapevine Lake. During the week is when we get to enjoy it the most. The view is always beautiful.
We went to Dave's 40th high school reunion and it was really great. It was wonderful to see everyone. There just wasn't enough time to talk and visit with everyone we wanted to. We are looking forward to the next one.
