Becky's Story
Life
I met my husband, Steve Kluz, in law school. We dated for several years and when I moved to Switzerland for my career, we dated long distance. He proposed to me in Paris in 2002 and we were married on a beach in Costa Rica in 2003. He is also a lawyer, and we live in Minneapolis with our three year-old daughter, Adeline, 16 month-old son, Jacob, and two cats.
College
After returning from Bonn, Germany, where I was a foreign exchange student (89-90), I attended the U of MN for my undergrad studies, finishing in 199...Expand for more
3 with a BA (double major in Political Science and German Studies). Then I spent a year at the University of Bonn and came back to the U of MN to attend law school. I graduated with my law degree in 1997.
Workplace
I have been an in-house lawyer at Medtronic since 2000. I started out in the European headquarters in Switzerland but moved back to Minnesota in 2002. Before that, I had a few different legal jobs in the U.S. and also worked in Germany (at the U.S. Embassy, at the German parliament and at a German law firm).
