Becky's Story
Life
After graduation from KSU in secondary science education, I taught highschool science in Cuyahoga Falls. I then replaced Bill Isler as a 7th grade science teacher at Hudson Middle School for one year. I married my long time sweetheart John Gomersal, also from Hudson ('87) in 1997. I left teaching after 2 years and went to work in the IT industry as a help desk representative and computer trainer for Allstate insurance and then for a large law firm in Akron. On 02/02/2002, John and I had our first son, Charlie, who is a beautiful red headed, green eyed monster. operate his landscape/lawn maintenance company primarily in Hudson. On 03/25/2004, John and I welcomed with nervous giggles, our final children, twins, Samuel and Laurel. John always wished for twins much to my dismay and lo and behold we got them. (We don't have any twins in the family). So it goes....now with 3 children 2 and under, I am staying home, pulling my hair out and John is working harder than ever to support his family.
