Ben Moyers:  

Ben, me, is from Hutchinson, Kansas. I am married to Dennis Moyers. His schools include Hutchinson High School: Emporia State University (Art, Psychology). I volunteered at Family Health Care in the Vision Clinic and the Grove Project also at Family Health Care in KCKS. and at The Wyandotte Center in Art Makers, the art therapy dept.; until health prevented me from helping out,. My volunteering at my husband's practice in Kansas City, KS while providing help in young adults social program his previous department at the center.. When not dealing with his fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue/ Parkin's Disease, and other health issues, me and Dennis were restoring my black four door, black sedan, 1983 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbodiesel, ( named Chloe) the vintage car I used as a daily driver when i could drive to take his dog Abbey to the bark park to play and swim, Riverfront Park. .Unfortunately my favorite Vintage Mercedes was ruined with a screw driver in the radiator and the engine burned up, before I realized it leaked out all it's coolant,. It was vandalized beyond repair by a deranged, homophobic ,homeless man living out of his car at Riverfront Park according to witnesses. I got 250 bucks salvage for her, she had over 550,000 miles on her original engined but new transmission, so I got my money out of her. Felt sorry for the SMPI homeless man and Lawrence police would not have done anything to him anyway, they are too under staffed and busy to deal with something trivial as vandalism, as in the past dealings with them in Pinckney/ Old West Lawrence. They said I needed more proof to bring changes against the guy and " I could not get blood out of a turnip" they said. Love my insurance agent at State Farm, didn't turn it in, I didn't think it was fair to claim on it since it wasn't an accident. o replace Chloe the Benz, Bought an older Honda Element, love it better than the Benz and can load my wet dog in it and it doesn't hurt her, named Eddy after Edwina in AB FAB BBC comedy. Love her, can camp in her, also I am off the ground which helps with my fibromyalgia and my newly diagnosed Parkin's Disease, which is now in phase one almost phase two, I jump back and forth through phases now, Having knee surgery soon, summer or Fall, so I should be more mobile hopefully, and have had several other surgeries last few years, so I have been too busy for social media. Really do not miss it. Dennis graduated from KU with his MSW, 4.0 GPA as usual, and is working in KC for Wyandotte Center for Behavioral Health as a service coordinator, loves his job. He is starting his MBA program in the fall with friends where he got his HR degree so he can advance in his career.
