Ben's Story
Where to begin, ah yes... After graduation, I moved to Stephenville, TX. What a wonderful town. If you like having nothing to do but milk cows and go to college. I tried college for a year but found out that I liked working better. I worked for a small company that delievered truck accessories for seven years. I then decided to move back to Carthage and start my own business... Lets just say that was not a good idea. Well I take that back, it was a hard time for me but God brought me through it for a reason. Business didn't fail, I just didn't enjoy owning my own business at that time... to many things going on in my life. I made a big decision to strike out and find gold so I left Carthage again. I go to Florida looking for work... I become an insurance adjuster. How did that happen, God's doing. This job took me on long trip to Wheeling, West Virginia. As circumstances would have it, I had to go back to Texas and finish a little unfinished business. Nothing criminal... well ok if you must know, I had to finalize my divorce. Enough of that mess, I decided after that I didn't like the insurance adjusting so I went to work running a shop in North Carol...Expand for more
ina. That is where God got my attention and brought me back to His loving Grace. I found a church family and started getting my life in line with His Holy Word. After living in North Carolina for a year, I moved to Alabama. This was another jaunt that God sent me on. The only good thing that came from that was the church that I was involved in and the people that I met. I do not like Alabama as a whole. That is one state that if I have a choice, I choose not to live in. I prayed and prayed and God heard me. I move back to Texas and now reside near Houston. I have since married the person that God wants me with, and let me tell you. I wished I had waited on her my whole life. I have 3 wonderful kids, 2 are step-children and one is on the way. Now those step-children might as well be Brimhall's. That is how I look at them and you should too. Well I am now currently a mudlogging in the oil field and loving it. SOOOO... That is the short version and if you want the long version... You will just have to wait till I publish the book. Love to hear from any of my old school mates and friends. You can find me benjaminbrimhall ><yahoo Till next time... Godspeed!
