Ben's Story
2016 - I retired from aviation at 60 with 20,894 hours in eight different jets. We moved to North Carolina where my wife accepted a position at a local hospital, and I worked as a correctional officer at a maximum security state prison of 1,000 inmates for five years. While there, I earned a Masters degree in National Security and Counterterrorism.

Criminal Justice. People frequently tell me that they tolerate me so that they can get to know my wife. Oh well, it's too late to improve my personality now.
I am still in excellent health and miss flying, but I don't miss being gone all the time. Memories of RHS and the wonderful people I was privileged to attend class with are sweet and mellow these days. If people knew all of my former classmates, no doubt they would tell me that they tolerate me so that they can get to know the Class of '67 at RHS.
