Life when I finished high school I went right to work at a tractor trailer brake shop in downtown kc. That place had the worst working conditions. After six months I went to work at a Catipillar dealership as a line mechanic and quickly learned the machines and was promoted to a mobile field truck where I repaired construction equipment on building sites. That was a pretty good job but then a better one came along and I was offered a position in the General Motors Apprentiship as a Millwright.
