Benita M. Arnold, MBA was the President of the Lorain County Urban League Young Professionals from 2002 to 2006. Benita brings to the table countless numbers of Diversity & Cultural Awareness Trainings, Conflict Resolution, and Human Resource Management expertise. Benita recently took the certification test to be known as a Senior Human Resource Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management.

Benita has held positions that include Human Resource Director, Business Manager for the Elyria Public Library System and Health Director with the Lorain County Urban League where she led a successful Asthma program working with African Americans and Hispanics. From 2000-2002, Benita worked for the Empowerment Center of Greater Cleveland where she wore many hats including Office, Human Resource & Program Manager, Assistant to the Director and Asthma Coordinator.
She is Youth Choir & Praise Dance Director, Church Clerk at Second Baptist of Elyria, where she follows the leadership of Rev. Dr. Carl P. Small. She and her husband James have 6 children,James Arnold Jr., Brock Arnold, Brittnae Isom, James Mitchell, David Mitchell and Emma Arnold. She also had volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters,Voice for Childrn and United Way Day of Caring. She is a great advocate of human rights and health related issues.".
