Benjamin's Story
Just sharing a bit about me.
I attended WBCHS from 1975 through 1978.
Since 1976, I've been involved in health care and social services.
I've spent the past forty-six years, in social services; many in
corrections and locked-acute facilities.
The majority of my career has been employed by the government.
This includes four years' Active Duty, U.S. Army and eight years, in the
Army Reserves.
Outside of the Army, I've worked primarily with California's indigent,
disenfranchised, and disadvantaged populations.
My specialty has been forensic mental health; jail, prison, parole,
probation, male sex offender, victims/perpetrators of human

fficking programs.
My wife is a retired public school teacher of thirty-two years and
I am semi-retired.
My wife is an independent travel agent, we both work from home/
on the road, and travel monthly.
We have sixteen grandchildren and love supporting their efforts
and endeavors.
Since high school, I've been fortunate to complete a four year degree,
graduate degree, and doctoral degree.
I was able to utilize my G.I. Bill to complete a lot of most of my education!
I'm forever grateful to the teachers and classmates at WBCHS who
encouraged me to further my education, pursue a career, and hopefully
made a positive difference in this world!!!
