Benjamin's Story
Currently living in Indianapolis, IN. Graduated from Kentucky State University and went to work with The Kroger Co. While with the company for 40 years, lived in Louisville (1967-1975), Cinti (1976-1978), Memphis (1978-1979), Indianapolis (1979-1986), Cinti again (1986-1992), Indianapolis again (1992-2007). Retired in 2007, and consulted with Kroger until 2012. Married since 1966 to college sweetheart, and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. I am an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi National Fraternity, and enjoy serving youth through the organization. I am also a member of 2 other organizations that have a major positive impact on the youth in our community; The 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, (through which I mentor 6th graders each week), and The Saint Florian Center. I have a passion for helping others, especially youngsters.
