Life
I'm glad to be out of the defense industry. Now I'm in the entertainment business. I'm in a group of lighting specialists that started in a "garage factory" and have built up into a mid-size rental company. Our main point in trade are lightning machines that have appeared in hundreds of movies, TV shows, and major events like the Olympics and the Superbowl. My specialties are computer control systems and self-contained power systems that can provide the megawatts to run many of the projects we've done. I've traveled as far as Australia to oversee some of them, but I seem to be most content tinkering in my laboratory with new concept stuff. Back in school, they called me a mad scientist. They were right.
